Description
The Bureau of Land Management has a requirement for hay to be delivered from the 2000 crop and shall conform with the requirements of the U.S. Hay and Straw Standards. Hay shall be Alfalfa, with a maximum of 10% grasses in conformance with the following requirements: Domestically grown; sun-cured with no moisture damage, not heating; properly stored, well cured, green and leafy; free of mold, dust, Russian Thistle or Prickly herb, "cheat grass", fox tails, corn stalks, bearded grain, and other long awns (spikelets), and any other weed or grass not considered healthy forage for domestic animals; free from animal contamination, dangerous pesticides and foreign matter of an kind (i.e., wire, nails, or other debris). Work is located in Lassen County, Nevada. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000.
