Description

Non-Personal services. Contractor is to provide all labor, supervision, and other items or services necessary to provide flight operations support at Hurlburt Field AFB FL. Flight operations support will include: 1) conducting Functional Check Flights, 2) conducting acceptance test profiles, 3) conducting maintenance check flights, 4) conducting ground maintenance engine runs, 5) providing currency training for active duty USAF personnel, 6) conducting flight planning and weight and balance, and 7) understanding and implementation of a flight operations in accordance with AFJI 10-220V1 and appropriate Air Force regulations. Qualified sources must have personnel previously USAF, IDAS/MATT, instructor qualified in the MH-53J and MH-53M helicopters. Personnel may be required to deploy with the Air Force into non-hostile areas. Personnel must be available to accommodate a 7-day a week work schedule, 10 hours per day. This acquisition is unrestricted. Contract period is 1 April 2001 through 30 September 2001 with four one year option periods through 30 September 2005. Request for Proposal number F08620-01-R0005, and any amendments thereto, will be issued via the Electronic Posting System (EPS) under eps for vendors, Department of the Air Force, Air Force Special Operations Command, 16th Contracting Squadron (16 CONS), Hurlburt Field.
