Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation,DMEA90-01-0006,is issued as a request for proposal. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334413with a small business size standard of 500. The Government intends to award all items on a sole source basis to MIPS Technologies Inc., 1225 Charleston Road, Mountain View, CA 94043-1353. The authority for sole source is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), supplies or services are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered.
