Description

The Air Force Institute for Environment, Safety and Occupational Health Risk Analysis (AFIERA) plans to extend the period of performance under five existing Occupational and Environmental Health Assessment (OEHA) contracts F41624-95-D-9015, F41624-95-D-9016, F41624-95-D-9017, F41624-95-D-9018, and F41624-95-D-9019. These contracts, awarded under a competitive source selection, currently have ordering periods that will expire 16 Jan 01. The proposed contract action will provide an additional five months of contractual coverage, awarded under modifications to the existing contract ordering periods and periods of performance. Current contract ceilings will not be changed. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of responsible sources, under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
