SOURCES SOUGHT The U.S.Military Academy at West Point, N Y is seeking qualified HUB ZONE and/or 8(a) firms capable of performing the closure of Michie Stadium Parking Lot Landfill (A & B) at West Point, N Y. A general overview of the work includes stormwater swale and culvert improvements, parking lot regrading and paving, and the installation of a lighting system for parking lots. In general, the work consist of open channel and culvert stormwater conveyance and associated headwalls along the perimeter of the lots, regrading of the lots to provide efficient stormwater drainage and maximize available parking, the installation of a lighting system including subsurface conduit for electrical connections, light pole and foundation installation with adjacent gas vent stacks, connection to existing storm systems, excavation, including rock excavation, and in-kind replacement of the wood stairway and railing extending east that provides pedestrian access to Michie Stadium. The NAICS code is 234910, and size standard is $27.5 Million. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS; THEREFORE, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in the CBD. In order to ascertain the method of procurement, qualified firms are invited to submit a "CAPABILITY STATEMENT". Your statement shall indicate bonding capability to $1M, name and address of firm, size of business, 8(a) and/or HUB ZONE certification; list of customer within the past five years where the above type work has been performed, contract number, dollar value, and the phone numbers for the point of contact. All responses must be received no later than 8 Dec 2000.
