Description

The work consists of a Design/Build Physical Fitness Center approximately 5,854 square meters, associated site work, and utilities at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas. The project will include architectural, civil, landscaping, structural, mechanical, fire protection, electrical, and telecommunications, design and construction phases. The project includes eight (8) options. It is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The North American Industrial Classification Standard is 23332 and the size standard is $27.5 Million. Project Duration is approximately 567 calendar days. The project will be offered as a Design/Build project. Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of experience, management plan, and cost. The Request for Proposal will include a floor plan, site plan, and elevations, which have been approved by the Government. Estimated magnitude of work is between $5 -- 10 Million. Issue date for solicitation will be on or about December 21, 2000. This project is unrestricted. The solicitation is available on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and provided free of charge. IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT THE NUMBER OF CD-ROMS WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) PER FIRM. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a printed hard copy format.
