Description
SF 254 and SF 255 Applications are invited from Engineering firms to provide professional services for design services and construction period services for the remodeling and expansion of the Building 81 Radiology Suite at the American Lake Division of the VA Puget Sound Health Care System. Physical project scope will be to remodel approximately 7,000 square feet of existing space on the second floor of B 81. The renovated space will be designed to function as a integrated space with inpatient and outpatient radiological functions. Services will include the planned move from other B81 locations of the CT scanner and ultrasound equipment. Design disciplines will include seismic/structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural interiors. The A/E contractor must provide bid-ready design documents 240 calendar days after A/E contract award. Evaluation and selection will be based on qualifications stated under CBD Numbered Note 24. The selected firm or organization must have significant experience in the design of existing medical facility renovation and radilogy areas in particular. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the credentials of the firm and assigned staff to support the study scope. Special qualifications and selection of firms will place emphasis on design capabilities of firms with previous experience renovating existing hospital facilities and radiological suites.
