Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 01SQ810452 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 19. This requirement is being set-aside for small business. The Bureau of Reclamation, Denver Office, has a requirement for the following: A fully automated triaxial shear path testing system for testing soils that includes software, load frame, flow pumps, and sensors for performing stress path triaxial testing. Firms that feel that they can provide the requirement are asked to request additional specifications by faxogram (303/445-6345) within five days of publication of this notice. Specifications and a copy of clause 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items) will be provided to the requestor by return fax. The completed representations and certifications must be returned with any proposals submitted. Proposals are due by cob 12/7/00.
