Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. Solicitation number: RFQ 544-037-01. This announcement incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR FAC 97-20 and VAAR 97-8. NAICS Code 339111 applies and the small business size is 500 employees. Subject to the availability of funds.Contractor shall provide the following equipment or equal to the WJB Dorn VA Medical Center, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209-1639. Requirements: One (1) each Fisher Protocol Healthcare Histo-Stainer 2500 (Processing Center with Integral Coverslipper) Cat. No. 22-035075.In order to be acceptable, an equal system must be compatible in every way. Offers will be evaluated on price and the technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government's requirement. Required delivery date shall be 60 days after receipt of award. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead. Offerors should also include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items and of 852.219-70 Veteran-Owned Small Business. Using a cascading procurement strategy order, any award resulted from this solicitation will be made on a competitive basis to an eligible small business concern, provided that a minimum of two (2) competitive offers are received from eligible small business concerns. If a minimum of two (2) offers from eligible small business concerns are not received, the award will be made on the basis of full and open competition from among all responsible business concerns submitting offers.
