Description
H-FLIGHT OPERATIONS SUPPORT SERVICES FOR AFSOC, POC Niki Cooper, (850) 884-3265: 16th Contracting Squadron. This is NOT a presolicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5, but is a Market Survey to identify sources to provide specialized flight operations support. The Air Force Special Operations Command has a requirement for contractor support in conducting flight operations on MH-53J/M helicopters. This Market Survey is for sources sought from industry with the personnel, experience, and qualifications to conduct flight operations on MH-53J and MH-53M helicopters. This notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any cost incurred for their participation in this survey. This notice is to identify interested and qualified contractors to provide flight operations support. Flight Operations support will include: 1) Conducting Functional Check Flights, 2) Conducting acceptance test profiles, 3) Conducting maintenance check flights, 4) Conducting ground maintenance engine runs, 5) Providing currency training for active duty USAF personnel, 6) Conducting flight planning and weight and balance, and 7) Understanding and implementation of a flight operations in accordance with AFJI 10-220V1 and appropriate Air Force regulations. Qualified sources must have personnel previously USAF, IDAS/MATT, Instructor qualified in the MH-53J and MH-53M helicopters. Personnel may be required to deploy with the Air Force into non-hostile areas. Personnel must be available to accomodate a 7-day a week work schedule, 10 hours per day. Responses must include qualified personnel resumes for pilots and Responses should be submitted to Niki Cooper either by fax to (850) 884-5372 or e-mailed to niki.cooper@hurlburt.af.mil, and flight engineers and a summary of corporate past performance and experience in performing flight operations as described above. Responses are limited to 10 pages, not including resumes. must be received by 12:00 pm CST on Monday, November 13, 2000.
