Description
This synopsis is FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Proposed contract effort is to modify an existing Testable Hardware (TH)Toolkit contract. The scope of this program is to develop and demonstrate a PC-based electronic toolkit containing data, procedures, models and computational aids used in the TH protocols in support of the implementation of the TH methodologies. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) created the TH program to explore affordable methodologies for hardness design and validation testing of systems to nuclear weapon environments using existing and near term aboveground simulators. This modification is required because maintenance and upgrade is necessary for contemporary software engineering projects like the Testable Hardware Toolkit. It is necessary to capture and correct the results of user comments and industry feedback once the toolkit is released in final version. JAYCOR has the unique background and knowledge of the applicability and limitations of the protocol's data, models and procedures. DTRA has made the determination that only JAYCOR has the required knowledge and skills to perform the necessary services and the interrelated applications. No solicitation will be issued. SEE Note 22.
