Description

X -- The U.S. Dept. of Commerce/NOAA/National Marine Fisheries Service intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Blair East Apartments located in Silver Spring, Maryland for the leasing of four (4) furnished apartments with one (1) bedroom and one (1) full bath each, for National Marine Fisheries employees assigned to the Silver Spring area on extended temporary duty. These furnished apartments are approximately one (1) block from the NOAA Silver Spring Metro Center buildings and the Silver Spring Metro Center and are furnished with the following: appliances (i.e. gas range, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave oven); smoke detector; television; central heating and air conditioning; all utilities; parking; living room suite (i.e. couch and chair, coffee table, table, lamps, small desk, drapes and small throw rug); dining room suite (i.e. small dining room table with chairs and small throw rug); small kitchenette set with table and chairs (i.e. two (2) place setting of dishes, silverware, pots, pans and skillet, drinking glasses and dish towels; bathroom set (i.e. two (2) sets of bath towels and wash cloths, bath mats; bedroom suite (i.e. queen size bed, mattress with headboard, bedside table, lamp, dresser with mirror, drapes, small throw rug and area rugs). Lease period will be from Date of Award through 09/30/01. Other vendors that have the ability to provide the above services are invited to submit information as to their capabilities and any other pertinent data along with a cost proposal to the address above, to be received no later than seven (7) days from the date of this notice.
