Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for meeting facilities for the week of November 13-17, 2000. The Government intends to award one purchase order for these services; this is not a multiple award. Although individual sleeping rooms will not be included in the resulting purchase order, 70 rooms must be made available at the Government Per Diem rate for November 12 through November 17. There is a possibility that some rooms will be necessary through November 18. The contractor must have dining facilities available for the participants. The contractor shall be located in Northern Virginia and be able to provide shuttle service to either National Airport or Dulles International Airport. Quotes should separately price the following requirements for the week of November 13 -- 17. The contractor will provide a single point of contact to attend to any/all problems which may arise and provide this information to DoDEA one week prior to commencement of services. 0001, One large Meeting room to accommodate 70 people with morning coffee breaks. 0002, Five breakout rooms to hold 12-15 people each. 0003, Audio-Visual equipment to include an overhead projector for each breakout room, AV support (for infocus machines), and flip charts for each breakout room. The Government will award a contract to the offeror that provides the greatest overall benefit in response to this request for quotes including price and other factors. The SIC for this acquisition is 7011. This acquisition has NOT been designated as a Small or Small and Disadvantaged Business set-aside, but note that FAR clauses 52.219-8 and 52.222-26 are included by reference. All offerors must be pre-registered with DoD, if they are not already registered with the Central Contractor Registry they may do so at ww.ccr2000.com. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items with their quote.
