Description

The General Services Administration, Federal Technology Service, Region 8, Denver, and its Client, NAIC, Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio, intend to procure on a Sole Source basis from Ball Systems Engineering Operations, Suite 180, 2875 Presidential Drive, Fairborn, Ohio, 937-320-4052, Linda Kimmel, the following items: Two corner front curved display cases and one longer, larger rectangular display cases custom produced to specifications using exclusive portable, modular laminate and Plexiglass display case extrusions and panels system. These units are to be made to exact specifications. These are freestanding units that can be assembled and disassembled on site with minimum time. These units may also be moved to other locations and reassembled. Wall Display Case Rectangle 101" display case with Plexiglass front, brass extrusions and mahogany laminate. 6' height with false bottom flooring for storage, lockable display cases, and inside display indirect lighting. Adjustable shelving. Three Plexiglass shelves included in design. Additional shelves available for purchase. PURPOSE: To deliver and set up (2) display cases. To purchase materials that will support an ongoing NSES processing and exploitation effort. Renewal of the IDL software maintenance agreements to support the continued maintenance requirements. JUSTIFICATION FOR OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION: Deliverables and milestones will be met and continued support of this effort will remain on schedule if purchase of materials goes to Ball Systems Engineering Operations. Concerns having the ability to furnish the above items are requested to give written notification (including the telephone number for a point of contact) to the acquiring office listed in this notice within 15-calendar days from the date of this synopsis. This notification should clearly show their ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the requirement. This is not a formal solicitation. However, concerns that respond should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities and may request a copy of the solicitation when it becomes available.
