Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This Purchase Request (PR) will be issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ)under the following PR Number: FB526002910093. (iii) This Purchase Request and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-20. (iv) This acquisition is unrestricted in regards to size standards and will be competed under full and open competion. (v) This RFQ contains one (1) line item: 0001 Liquid Oxygen (LOX) Aviators breathing oxygen minimum by weight composition 99.5% Unit Pack: Bulk Type II; Quantity is not to exceed 75,000 gal (vii) Oxygen will be ordered whenever there is a requirement from 27 October 2000 thru 30 September 2001. Delivery must be made within 5 calendar days of request by the using activity. Oxygen provided will be subject to government inspection and standards accordance with MIL-C-27676 or functional equivalent. FOB point is: 15 LSDCB Bldg 3023 Hickam AFB, HI 96853 (viii) The following clauses and provisions are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-1 -- Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items, 52.212-4 -- Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, 52.212-5 -- Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, 52.223-3 -- Hazardous Material Identification and Material Safety Data 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration, 252.212-7001 -- Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, and 52.211-18 -- Variation in Estimated Quantity.
