Description

1. The North American Industrial Calssification Systems (NAICS) for this procurement is 541380 and the size standard is $5.0 million. 2. Plans and specification will be available ON/AFTER 31 October 2000. A copy of the specification will be available at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. 3. This solicitation is a small business set-aside. 4. The intent of this solicitation is to obtain all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, faccilities, supervision and management required for performing water analysis of condenser water of each cooling system in each building identified on the upcoming bid schedule. Work includes efforts to determine requirements and execute a technical treatment program necessary for the control of scale, corrosion and biological growth in the water tower systems. Also establish a program that will satisfy the objective of providing (water treatment) services for the cooling tower systems which will prevent the accumulation by precipitation of scale, trash, mud, dirt, algae, slime, and any other foreign materials. Work efforts also include testing and treatment of circulation and make-up water. 5. The proposed contract will be for a base year and four option years. 6. The Government will award based on best value, considering price and past performance.
