Description

UNICOR, FPI intends to enter into a sole source One (1) Year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Type Contract for delivery to FCI Yazoo City, MS for Goldflex, Spectraflex. The period of performance shall be a One (1) Year. Specifications shall be as follows: Line Item 0001, Unicor Number FAB7169-109,100 Yards, Goldflex, Aramid, 63" Wide, Unidirectional Aramid Fiber impregnated w/a proprietary resin matrix, Cross-Plied in a (0/90 Degrees), orientation and sandwiched in a Thermoplastic Film, color gold, Line Item 0002, Unicor Number FAB7170-138,000 Yards, Spectraflex , 53" Wide, Unidirectional spectra Fiber in Pre-Preg Tapes, Cross Plied in a (0/90 Degrees) Orientation Sandwiched with a Thermoplastic Film, to enhance flexibility, color white. The Guaranteed Minimum is 54,500 yards for line item 0001 and 68,950 yards for line item 0002. Delivery is FOB Destination FCI Yazoo City, MS. The first delivery is due 45 days after award, and consecutive deliveries due no later than 30 days after each delivery order. This requirement is all or none. All vendors are put on notice that this solicitation will be evaluated based on the overall Best Value to the Government. Justification for other than full and open competition is authority 41 USC 253 (c)(1). The Evaluation Factors are: Past Performance, Specifications and Price. Additional information will be provided in the solicitation which is due to be issued on or about 10/31/00.
