Solicitation F47606-01-R0061 is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This action is 100% small business set-aside (FAR 52.219-6). The Standard Industrial Classification is 2819 -- Industrial Inorganic Chemicals and the North American Industry Classification System is 325188 -- All Other Basic Inorganic Chemical Manufacturing. The standard size is 1000 employees. Item Description. Quantity is not to exceed 12,000 gallons. Deicing-defrosting fluid and anti-icing inhibitor included. Cryotech E36 deicer NSN: 6850-01-436-9463 _or equal_. Delivery to be made in three separate 4,000 gallon shipments. Each shipment shall be delivered within 3 business days of the request and be pumped into a bulk storage tank. First shipment requested not later than 3 November 2000. Registration in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required (DFARS 252.204-7004). Registration may be made via the inter-net at http://www.ccr2000.com/ or calling 1-888-227-2423. Offerors submitting "equal" items to those identified must so state in their quotation and cite the applicable manufacturer, brand, part number and applicable manufacturer's specifications. Supplies contained in this solicitation are for delivery FOB destination building 1900, Arnold Ave., Andrews AFB MD 20762. Solicitation provisions FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Mar 00) and FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal (Aug 99) are incorporated by reference. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provisions FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Feb 00) and 52.223-3, Hazardous Material Identification and Material Safety Data (Jan 97) with their quote. (Call 301-981-2303 to have a copy of FAR 52.212-3 and 52.223-3 faxed to you).
