Description
Service, Nonpersonal: Contractor needed to supply all personnel, tools, transportation, cleaning supplies necessary to perform LABORATORY CUSTODIAL SERVICES TWICE WEEKLY (TUESDAY & THURSDAY) to be completed between the hours 1430- 2359 hr: -Empty wastes receptacles in all laboratories twice weekly & provides new plastic liners in waste receptacles. -Remove Cardboard boxes and place empty cardboard boxes in the recycle collection container located in the main parking lot. -Remove sealed receptacles of broken glass, plastic, and autoclaved waste that are clearly marked "Ready For Disposal" and placed near regular waste receptacles twice weekly. -Dust mop all laboratory floors twice weekly. -Damp mop laboratory floors once a week. -Shower stalls- clean & mop stalls once weekly in the men's and women's locker rooms located inside their respective bathrooms. Removal of soap scum & mold as needed. NOTE: The contractor MUST agree to acknowledge that they understand the potential hazards associated with working in the laboratory. A pre-briefing is required for the contractor and their employees prior to the start date on Potential Hazards Associated With Working In A Laboratory. Our Laboratory Safety Officer will give this briefing. Each person will be required to sign a letter stating they have received the briefing. All work to be performed in one building. Includes 11 rooms + 2 locker rooms. **This requirement contingent on availability of funds after 1 Oct 2000.** ** A walkthrough of Building 1117 is scheduled for 26 Sep 2000 at 1:00 P.M.
