Description
Services are required to support existing customer processes and systems, to incorporate emerging Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Navy (DoN) information technology, to improve organizational efficiency and to maintain existing systems. Specific initiatives include investigations of current utilization, design and analysis of the Naval Command, Control and Ocean Surveillance Center (NCCOSC) Corporate Internet (NCI); analysis, design, and pre-installation support for local and wide area networking in the SPAWAR claimancy; data collection, analysis, and other management and implementation support for SPAWAR System Center representation on the DIFMS User Group; data collection, analysis and other management and implementation support for SPAWAR System Center representation on the NIMMS User Group; data collection, analysis and other management and implementation support for In Process reviews for DIFMS, NIMMS and other DoD Standard systems; design, analysis, and implementation decision support for new DoD Standard Systems. These services are utilized to enhance, assist or improve the ability of government employees to make decisions on governmental processes, programs, and systems. The efforts include the analysis, planning, design and implementation of new systems, subsystems and critical items to support Department of Defense and/or Department of Navy requirements. This SOW requires the support for all aspects of Business Operations, Industrial Processes, and Information Resource Re-engineering for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWARSYSCOM) and its associated government activities, sister activities, and sponsor organizations. The proposed contract is set-aside 100% for 8(a) firms. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government. All responsible 8(a) sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency in response to this solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available by 03 DEC 2000 on the SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston RFP web page address link below.
