Description

This solicitation seeks the services for producing a combined total of approximately 520,000 containerized forest seedlings for the Gifford Pinchot, Mt. Hood and Wallowa-Whitman National Forests during the year 2001 growing season. Aproximately 210,000 are to be produced in the Ventblock 91/130, 195,000 in the Ventblock 160/90, and 80,000 in the Ventblock 112/105. Other cells include the Ray Leach Super Cell, the HIKO 150 and 265. Acceptable equivalent cells will be listed in the solicitation. The primary species include Ponderosa pine (100M), western larch (95M), Douglas-fir (90M), western white pine (70M) and Noble fir (70M). The remaining volume includes Englemann spruce, western red cedar, lodgepole pine, grand fir, western and mountain hemlock, and red alder. "See Note 1."
