Description

84 -- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAKF06-00-T-0151 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This will be a 100% small business set aside (SIC: 5661, size standard $6.5M) RFQs should be quoted in accordance with the following: CLIN 0001, Quantity = 10, Boot, Sorel with Liner; Style: Men's Extreme -100, Color: Black, Size 7 (Brand Name Only). CLIN 0002, Quantity = 40, Boot, Sorel with Liner; Style: Men's Extreme -100, Color: Black, Size 8 (Brand Name Only). CLIN 0003, Quantity = 70, Boot, Sorel with Liner; Style: Men's Extreme -100, Color: Black, Size 9 (Brand Name Only). CLIN 0004, Quantity = 80, Boot, Sorel with Liner; Style: Men's Extreme -100, Color: Black, Size 10 (Brand Name Only). CLIN 0005, Quantity = 90, Boot, Sorel with Liner; Style: Men's Extreme -100, Color: Black, Size 11 (Brand Name Only). CLIN 0006, Quantity = 85, Boot, Sorel with Liner; Style: Men's Extreme -100, Color: Black, Size 12 (Brand Name Only). CLIN 0007, Quantity = 60, Boot, Sorel with Liner; Style: Men's Extreme -100, Color: Black, Size 13 (Brand Name Only). CLIN 0008, Quantity = 25, Boot, Sorel with Liner; Style: Men's Extreme -100, Color: Black, Size 14 (Brand Name Only). Warranty: Provide with quote standard commercial warranty information. Delivery will be to: Central Receiving Point, Bldg 330, Fort Carson, CO 80913 by 1 December 2000. Delivery will be FOB Destination. Do not substitute brand name. Sorel has been determined to be the only brand name capable of supporting the 10th Special Forces Group mission. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items are applicable to this solicitation. Offerors shall include with their offers a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items.
