Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to award a contract on a sole source basis with RAMIX, Inc., 1672 Donlon St. Ventura, CA 93003, for 5 Device Drives for enet on VXWorks (SENS) PPC Part Number: M-EDCSB-SEV-ARC; 5 Device Drives for PMC 233/4 on VXWorks PPC Part Number: M-PDS-SEV-ARC; 32 6GB High Capacity Disk 33MB/Sec Data Rate Part Number: PMC 233-C; 25 Intelligent Dual 100 Base FX i960 Co-Processor Part Number: PMC665-B; and, 25 PCI Expansion Module 3 PMC connects to Motorola 26xx36xx Part Number PMC 237 CM. These products will be used in the Engineering Development Model (EDM for the MK 160 MOD 9 and MOD 10 Gun Computing System (GCS) which supports the Weapon Control Systems Branch and to support the design phase of the MK 160 GCS MOD 9 & 10 and allow development of the entire MOD 9 and MOD 10 system to move forward. The Fast Ethernet card and PCI Mezzanine Card are configuration control items for which exact replacement items are needed. Any alternative would require changes to the system design and possibly software recoding. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures -- reference Quote # N00178-00-Q-3036.
