Description

The U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, AZ intends to negotiate and award a requirements contract to Oehler Research, Inc., 1308 Barclay Drive, Austin, TX 78746 on a sole source basis. The contract is for upgrade of the existing Acoustic Target System at the USAYPG. The upgrade will consist of an estimated: 1) 14 each Model 86 Target Systems to include microphones and cables, 2) 6 each Model 86 Target Controllers, 3) 4 each Windows PC with modem printer and software, 4) 64 each hemispherical microphones, 5) 3 each on-site accreditation/validations and 6) 3 each off-site accreditation/validation. The contract will also allow for software upgrades and equipment maintenance visits as required. The original system was designed and developed by Oehler Research and the items being acquired must have form, fit and function compatibility with the systems currently in use at the USAYPG. All data relative to the system is proprietary to Oehler Research. The anticipated contract will be in effect for 5 years from date of award. See Note 22.
