Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a sole-source Firm-fixed price modification to contract number N00019-00-C-0289 with Lockheed Martin Information Systems, 12506 Lake Underhill Road, Orlando, FL 32825-5002, for the fabrication, assemble, integration, testing, and integrated logistics support for four (4) Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development (EMD) RTCASS stations, one (1) Spanish FMS F/A -- 18 RTCASS station, including instrumentation, cabling, and three (3) Operational/Performance (Self-Test/Calibration) Interface Devices (OPIDs), and associated external support equipment. The requirement is for the development of a CASS compatible test capability in a portable configuration. RTCASS will provide a portable test set using COTS hardware and software, which is TPS compatible with mainframe CASS. In addition, the requirement includes installation, ancillary equipment, associated logistics support and sustaining engineering to support F/A 18 weapon systems. Lockheed Martin Information Systems is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the CASS station and is, therefore, the only known firm to fulfill the requirement.
