Z -- STORM DAMAGE REPAIRS -- GIWW LOST LAKE SOL 201810B005 DUE 101400 POC Dolores Bello, Contracting Officer The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 2, seeks bids to repair and provide erosion protection to the shoreline along the Lost Lake Gulf Intracoastal Water Way, located within Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge, Brazoria County, Texas. The project consists of placing 1,000 cubic yards of unclassified borrow and 400 cubic yards of top soil, placement of 1,200 square yards of erosion control blankets, and 4,100 square feet of vinyl sheet pile wave break. The price rance is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid, payment, and performance bonds will be required. This project is full and open competition. It is planned to issue the invitation for bids on or about September 14, 2000, with an anticipated bid opening date of October 17, 2000. However, if these dates are not met, the bid opening date will be adjusted to allow 30 days from issuance to bid opening date.
