Background "Non-personal services to provide all necessary labor, maintenance supplies, tools, test equipment mobile on-site capabilities to provide general maintenance such as sharpening, adjustments and minor repair of surgical and endoscopic instrumentation. Mobile capabilities are necessary due to the lack of space in the Medical Center. Items not capable of on-site repair shall be transported to the vendor's facility and delivered to the Central Sterile Processing department within a time frame not to exceed ten days. Contractor shall provide one phone number to be utilized for service assistance and remedial on call maintenance service. Additional requirements will be spelled-out in the Statement of Work for this Government request. Period of performance is 01 Oct 2000 through 30 Sep 2001. Anticipated award date is 01 Oct 2000, subject to the availability of funds for Fiscal Year 2001.
