The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) intends to award a sole-source delivery order against DON ES BPA #N00039-97-A-0008 to Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). The Joint Accreditation Support Activity (JASA) provides the Department of Defense Modeling and Simulation (M&S) community with support in Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) planning and execution assistance. Contractor will provide technical engineering services for the Defense Modeling and Simulation Office's (DMSO) VV&A program. Under JASA direction, the DMSO develops policy and guidance for the Department of Defense in matters of Modeling and Simulation VV&A. The required efforts are: to advise and assist in updating the DMSO Modeling & Simulation VV&A Recommended Practices Guide; to support a High Level Architecture (HLA) VV&A "Proof of Concept" for the Joint Advanced Distributed Simulation (JADS) program; and to support the development of standards for Conceptual Models. Contractor must have expertise in responding to Modeling and Simulation VV&A requests from the JASA. The period of performance for this effort is one year from the date of award.
