Sullivan 870/543-7271 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items as prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, a written solicitation will not be issued. Proposals are requested based on this notice. The solicitation is issued as Request for Proposal number 222-00-2013(P). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18, dated July 6, 2000. The standard industrial classification is 5049 with a size standard of 500 employees. REQUIREMENT: QUANTITY 1 EACH, Reflex III Ultimate Performance MALDI TOF mass spectrometer system including (1) Gridless electrostatic ion reflector, (2) TOF-100 FAST accessory for post source decay experiments, (3) TOF-115 CID accessory, (4) TOF-150 Nd: YAG laser and N2 laser, (5) Factory training; QUANTITY 1 EACH, TOF MAP II Sample and liquid handler; QUANTITY 1 EACH, TOF-450 Biotools NT based analysis and interpretation software. 1 year parts and labor warranty. If proposing other than the specified system, submit descriptive literature. To be delivered FOB point Destination within four months of award of purchase order. Evaluation criteria: Proposed systems will be evaluated for sensitivity for analysis of proteins/peptides, spectral resolution, mass accuracy, mass range, accuracy of sequence data from unknown proteins/peptides and efficacy for the characterization of bacterial cells and proteins. Subject to the availability of FY 2000 funds in accordance with FAR 52.232-18 entitled Availability of Funds (APR 1984).
