Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform dockside repairs including but not limited to the following base items: (1) Clean, Inspect and Preserve Diesel Fuel, JP-5 Fuel, and Oil Tanks, (2)Clean and Inspect Feed Water Tank and Seal Tank, (3) Clean #1 and #2 SSDG and Emergency Generator Inplace, (4) Overhaul Motors, (5) Load Test Motor Generator Sets, (6) Renew Ventilation Ductwork, (7) Renew Waterproof Ventilators, (8) Clean and Inspect Excess Steam Condensers, (9) Renew Ballast Tank Cross Connect Piping, (10) Inspect and Test Air Receivers and Renew Relief Valves, (11) Renew Oily Waste Holding Tank Sounding Tube Deck Connection, (12) Ultrasonic Test Survey Auxiliary Salt Water Piping, (13) Provide Temporary Logistics, etc. The following option items may be exercised during the contract period: (1) Provide Additional Temporary Logistics, (2) Clean, Inspect and Preserve Diesel Overflow Tank, (3)Clean, Inspect and Preserve JP-5 Service Tank, (4) Clean, Inspect and Preserve Lube Oil Storage Tank, (5) Clean, Inspect and Preserve Oily Waste Storage Tank, (6) Clean and Inspect Feed Water Drain Tank, (7) Clean and Inspect Seal Water Tank, etc. The vessel is a 270 Foot Medium Endurance Cutter. The vessel's homeport is Portsmouth, Virginia. The period of performance is for fifty-three (53) calendar days commencing 25 OCT 2000. The place of performance is the cutter's homepier, Portsmouth, Virginia. All referenced documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA 23510-9102. Drawings are now available on CD-ROM. The CD-ROM sets are available for all cutters and will be free of charge to contractors upon request [ten days from solicitation issuance]. MLCA must have ten (10) days advanced notice to complete a CD-ROM set of drawings. Drawings are still available in hardcopy; however, a $150.00 non-refundable charge of $150.00 is required in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All businesses, large and small, are encouraged to submit bids for the subject requirement. Plans and specifications will be issued on or about 8 AUG 00.
