The U.S. Coast Guard ELC is seeking qualified sources for the inspection and repair of Ingersoll-Rand pumps, NSN 4320-01-118-6394 (2 each) and 4320-01-122-3852 (6 each). Delivery to be F.O.B. Destination to U.S. Coast Guard ELC, Curtis Bay, Baltimore, MD 21226. It is the Government's belief that only Ingersoll-Dresser Pump Co. or their authorized distributors can provide the services for the pumps. However, other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate within 15 days from the date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered services: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered services (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics), or 2) Data that the offered service has been satisfactorily manufactured for the government or the original equipment manufacturer. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contract. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
