The U.S. Department of Energy, Idaho Operations Office (DOE-ID) intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price purchase order to Canberra Industries for an upgrade to DOE-ID's existing Gamma Ray Spectrometry System which is compatible with DOE-ID's current Canberra Genie-ESP operating platform. This system contains unique front-end electronics, proprietary software, and customized programming. The Government believes that this is the only source reasonably available to provide this upgrade based on the exclusive licensing agreements and proprietary software contained therein. No solicitation document exists, therefore a request for such document will not be considered.
