The USDA, Agriculture Research Service (ARS) requires all labor, supervision, tools, and materials to construct an office addition (2,000 +/- sq.ft) with headhouse (525 +/- sq.ft) and the options to install two greenhouses (approximately 3,000 sq.ft. each) for the Plant Genetics Resource Unit, Geneva, New York. Due to budget constraints, the option to exercise the option for one greenhouse will be in FY01 and the second in FY02. The estimated cost of construction for each line item is between $250,000 and $500,000. Completion time for line item 1 is 120 days after notice to proceed and 90 days for each greenhouse after exercising the option. Specification No. 13-3615-00 will be available on or about August 18, 2000. Information regarding a prebid conference will be included in the solicitation.
