Z -- HAULING SERVICES SOL N00-00-20 DUE 081700 POC Mr. James Harjo, Contracting Officer, (505) 863-8252 The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Navajo Region has a requirement for Hauling Services for demolition debris. (building demolition and will include concrete foundations, side walks and slabs.) The demolition site is Chinle Boarding School, located at Many Farms, Arizona. The BIA intends to issue a solicitation for a sealed bid and will issue a firm Fixed-Price contract to satisfy the requirement. This is a commercial Item Acquisition, FAR Part 12 applies. The Contractor will be required to furnish semi-truck and dumps with a minimum of 30 cubic yard capacity. The Contract shall be capable of hauling a minimum of twelve (12) loads per day. The BIA will provide the services to load the trucks. The time period of the contract is one year and total loads will be approximately 250-300 loads. Solid waste regulations requires the material to be transported off the Navajo Reservation. The debris may be transported to either the Pen-Rob Landfill located at Joseph City, Arizona or to the San Juan Regional landfill located in Farmington, New Mexico.
