IFB N68711-00-B-8980, SEISMIC REPAIRS & RENOVATIONS AND INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING, BLDGS. 1541 & 1542 (TP-9852M/TP-9853M/TP-0013R/TP-0014R) It is the intent of this contract to provide seismic strengthening, repairs, and renovations to the Protestant and Catholic chapels, Buildings 1541 and 1542 (11,000 GSF each building). The work includes furnishing all materials, labor, equipment and supervision for asbestos removal throughout the building; demolition of existing walls, concrete floor, and ceiling for new concrete shear walls and foundations; addition of new walls, replacement of floor coverings, ceilings and lighting fixtures; new exterior glazing and new stained glass windows; replace existing built-up roofing; install new HVAC system; renovate existing kitchen and bathrooms; repairing and painting of existing interior and exterior surfaces including new texture coat painting of exterior of buildings; and incidental related work. A Quality Control Program will be required as set forth in the Contract Specifications.
