Geological Survey at the National Center in Reston, Virginia has a requirement for construction services for the alteration of existing office space. Specific work requirements are set forth in the Statement of Work. The work will include the demolition and renovation of existing space. The work will employ the following trades: HVAC ductwork and equipment, Masonry, electrical, carpentry, plumbing for HVAC, acoustical ceiling installation, painting and Architectural Millwork. We anticipate issuance of the Request for Quote (RFQ) on August 3, 2000. A site visit is scheduled for August 17, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. EST. Quotes are due on August 31, 2000 at 2:30 p.m. EST. The period of performance will be 2.5 months after date of award. We anticipate award of this project by September 7, 2000. The magnitude of this construction effort will be between $25,000 and $100,000. The SIC is 1542. The size standard is $17 Million.
