NASA/ARC plans to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) to remove and re-install new 1-inch & 2-inch, schedule 80 Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) pipe and fittings. Point of connections shall be made underground outside of containment areas. The contractor shall accomplish requirements in accordance with AHB1700-1, NASA Ames Health and Safety manual. NASA, code JFP, will designate the actual scope of the above listed project requirement at the scheduled "job walk-through". This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between,000.00 and,000.00 and the effort shall be completed within 30 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 1711 and .0m, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DO-C9. The anticipated release date of RFQ2-36493-PFM is on or about July 19, 2000 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about August 9, 2000.
