The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate with Lamaze Institute for Family Education (Lamaze) on a sole-source basis for direct delivery distribution of leaflets. In addition, Lamaze will hire talent, produce, and distribute a video which will include a two minute tutorial in their thirty minute production about enumeration at birth. The leaflets and the video will be distributed in both English and Spanish. Distribution is required for approximately 3 million leaflets that will be put directly into the hands of the expectant mother. In addition to the direct delivery distribution of leaflets and the video production, the childbirth educators will provide instructions, in the childbirth classes, to pre-natal parents in the procedures for getting a Social Security number for their child.
