Jones (202)307-7804 The Drug Enforcement Administration has a requirement for the performance of High-Frequency Net Control Station Services for the estimated period of October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001 with four successive twelve month option periods. -- Mandatory requirements are that the contractor shall have, by October 1, 2000, a main station located in the central part of the continental U. S. (CONUS) (Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, or Oklahoma), one remote station located on the west coast of CONUS (Arizona, California, Oregon, or Washington), one remote station located in the south central part of CONUS (New Mexico, Texas, or Louisiana), and one remote station located in Maryland, Virginia, or North Carolina. -- The DEA is anticipating negotiating on a sole source basis with Rockwell Collins, Inc. of Cedar Rapids, Ia. pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), and FAR 6.302-1. -- Any firms desiring consideration must fully identify their capabilities to perform the mandatory requirements addressed herein in writing and submit to the POC identified above within 15 days of the CBD notice date. -- See note 22.
