N -- INSTALLATION OF EQUIPMENT SOL RFQ 462-0032 DUE 081600 POC Kenneth R. Morgan, Constract Specialist, (803) 637-1344 Contractor to provide labor and materials necessary to supply and install a water main booster pump for the Staff Training Facility. Contractor shall install a booster pump complete and operational capable of increasing the water pressure at the Staff Training Facility to 80 PSI and the fire service to 500 GPM. The contractor will tie into the 6" main water supply leading to the Training Facility. The Federal Correctional Institution will be responsible for providing all materials and labor to construct a 14' x 14' pump house, complete with concrete pad, power connection for the booster pump, CMU block walls and shingle roof. The contractor shall supply and install, the following equipment: 30 horsepower booster pump, 480 volts; 3" pressure relief valve; 6" micrometer water meter with pulser; pressure transducer; 30 horsepwer 3 phase variable feed drive with programmable logic controller; 6" steel piping with (3) isolation valves to tie into existing 6" C-900 PVC mainline; 6" bypass assembly with checkand isolation valve; 6" pump discharge with check and isolation valve. All above listed materials are to be mounted on 8.5x7.5 channel iron base with floor plate covers.
