The solicitation number is SB-00-0014 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses identified in FAR Subpart 12, FAC 97-18, as required. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC)is 2499 and is not set-aside. This project is for the Bureau of Indian Affairs, San Carlos Irrigation Project (SCIP), Coolidge, Arizona. Commercial item procedures will be used for this procurement. BIA/SCIP requires power poles in various classes and lengths to be delivered on self-unloading trucks. Poles must be either Douglas Fir or Western Pine, in accordance with specifications per ANSI 05.1-1992 standards. Full length pressure treated with Penta per American Wood Preservative Association (AWPA) P8-91 @ P9-92 to a minimum net retention of 45# per cubic foot of wood by ASSAY per AWPA C4-92.
