SOL J4R02017 DUE 080900 POC William Och 304-256-3388 Fax -- 304-256-3350 The work consists of creating two (2) handicap parking spaces in front of the main Administration Building, and renovating two (2) Residence Hall guest rooms to accomodate Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, as described in the scope of work. Work requires partial demolition of an outside brick patio in order to provide parking. Also requires partial demolition of two rooms which includes walls, floor tile, bath fixtures, cabinets, plumbing and electrical modifications. ADA standards must be meet for equipping the rooms with audible and visual fire signals. A glass entrance door shall be equipped with an ADA automatic opener. All work shall be aesthetic to the surrounding structures and compatible with existing equipment. Contractor shall provide all necessary equipment and accessories as needed for ADA compliance, such as kitchen appliances, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, door paddle handles and locks, paddle light switches, and fire alarm periphery. Firms responding shall indicate size and type of business. Written or faxed requests for solicitation MUST reach this office NOT LATER THAN 15 days after this publication due to limited availability of bid sets.
