The Lower Michigan Acquisition Center, Detroit, Michigan is soliciting offers to provide Neurology Services by a neurologist board certified, specializing in adult neurology 1 to 2 days per week at the Aleda E. Lutz, VA Medical Center, 1500 Weiss Street, Saginaw, Michigan. The neurologist shall conduct clinics for patients with neurologic diagnoses or suspected to have neurologic conditions. Clinics shall consist of initial consultations, follow-up outpatient visits as deemed medically appropriate by the neurology physician or as requested by the medical staff members and will included diagnostic work up and treatment of patients as medically indicated. The successful offeror shall have access to facilities in the Saginaw locality for the purpose of performing examinations deemed necessary by the contract neurologist. The solicitation has been replaced in it's entirety by Amendment No. 2 and will be issued on or about June 5, 2000. Proposals are due by 4:30 p.m., local time, July 14, 2000. All initial requesters will receive the revised solicitation with Amendment No. 2.
