Hill, Contracting Officer, (214) 857-031 General Scope of Contract: The VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS) Contracting activity issues this solicitation and contemplates an award of a contract or contracts therefrom for supplies and related services that will be used by the Consolidated Mail Out Pharmacy (CMOP) located in Lancaster, Texas. The purpose of the contract is to provide for order placement and twenty-four (24) hour delivery of supplies as needed to mail out prescription medications and or pharmaceuticals to VA beneficiaries. The 24 hour delivery period is required because of space limitation (lack of warehouse space) at the CMOP facility. Orders will be placed by authorized CMOP government purchase cardholders and or VANTHCS Acquisition and Material Management (A&MM) Purchasing Agents (PAs). Products follow: 1. Plastic Bubble Padded Mailers, 2. Plastic Mailer, 3. Three (3) Layer Co-extruded Polyethylene Mailing Jacket, 4. Corrugated Boxes, 5. Box Tape, 6. Box Kraft w/foam insert, 7. Gel Pack Mailer. This acquisition is a commercial item acquisiton set aside 100% for small businesses. An awarded IDIQ contract shall be for a period of 12 months from the date of award.
