The work consists of removing an existing generator, removing and disposing of a switchboard from each of the four control houses at the lock, installing a new 125KW Diesel Engine Generator Set and a new 225A Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) -- both of which will be furnished by Corps of Engineers, installing conduit/cables from the Disconnect to the ATS and from the ATS to the Main Distribution Panel, connecting the Generator (and utility power) to the transfer switch (ATS), and pulling the existing cables from the manholes located near the control houses to the new switchboards.
