V -- NONPERSONAL SERVICES: COMMERCIAL TRAVEL SERVICES SHAW AFB, SC The Government intends to issue a sole source modification to current contract number F38601-93-C0006 to IMDT/The Travel Company, 1437 Old Square Road, Suite 204, Jackson MS 39211. This modification is for continued provision of all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items or services necessary to perform interim commercial travel services at Shaw AFB SC, Moody AFB GA, and Tyndall AFB FL. The commercial travel offices (CTO) at each of these bases will be consolidated into the Department of Defense (DOD) Regional Commercial Travel Office Services contract in the future. The estimated augmentation date is November of 2001. To ensure continuity of services, the Government intends to modify the current contract to extend services from 1 Jul 00 through 30 Nov 2001 (a 17 month period), or to implementation into the Defense Travel System, whichever is sooner. Additionally, the Government intends to include 2 six-month options. It is also the Government_s intent to negotiate provisions into the modification that will permit each base to fall from the current contract without penalty should they be integrated into the DoD Regional Contract individually. In order to keep the continuity of the in-place services, the Government does not intend to award a contract to other than IMDT/The Travel Company.
