Carrier Sequence Bar Code Sorter Stacker Upgrade: This requirement is for the design, manufacture, delivery, installation, and testing of 380 production Carrier Sequence Bar Code Sorter (CSBCS) Stacker Modifications; for goods such as spare parts and fourth echelon repairable items; and for services that include, but are not limited to, the preparation of documentation, the provision of new and/or modified software and firmware, training, testing support, and maintenance support. 21-stacker and 25-stacker modification kits will be used to expand the 17-stacker CSBCS. The purpose of the stacker modification is to provide appropriate existing CSBCS with the capability for extending the route sequencing penetration to the additional delivery points located within multi-unit buildings. The principal technical requirement is that the design of the expansion modules shall replicate the design of the functional components in the existing stacker modules for the 17-stacker machine.
