This is for a Firm Fixed Price Requirements Non-Personal Service Contract. This contract is a total small business set-aside. The Federal Prison Camp in Alderson, West Virginia seeks a qualified organization or individual to provide the services of a Radiological Technician at FPC Alderson. The contractor will be required to provide five (5) sessions per week. Each session will be six (6) hours in duration for a maximum of 30 hours per week. The contract will run from date of award through September 30, 2000, with the Government's unilateral right to exercise one (1) Option Year (12 month time period). The contractor must have a license to perform radiological procedures in the State of West Virginia (or state of residence), have certification by one of the bodies approved by the FDA to certify radiological technologists, and have undergone training specific to mammography, or have at least one year experience in the performance of mammography. Contractor will set up and shoot routine x-ray films and mammograms, assist with such special procedures such as fluoroscopy and contrast studies such as gastrointestinal studies with the use of barium.
