The SPAWAR Systems Center Charleston intends to award a sole source modification to contract MDA972-97-C-0010 with Molecular Geodesics, Inc. in support of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's (DARPA) BWD program. The modification is to extend filtration characterization and testing of MGI's biomimetic filter designs in direct comparison with existing chemical and biological filtration technology. Molecular Geodesics, Inc. is the only source capable of performing this work because of the expertise in this field and their prior research already performed.
