U -- CLANDESTINE LABORATORY TRAINING FOR THE DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION SOL DEA-00-R-0009 POC P.Ayanian,(202)307-4921 The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to issue a solicitation for the Clandestine Laboratory Training requirements for the DEA Office of Training. DEA intends to conduct a full and open competition for this requirement. The contractor would be required to conduct, at a minimum, the Clandestine Laboratory Safety Certification training, and Team/Site Safety Officer Advance School in accordance with 29 CFR 1910 and all other pertinent regulations in effect. The contractor would conduct up to 75 Clandestine Laboratory training sessions per year. In addition, the Government may require simultaneous training to be conducted at either the same location or at various locations throughout the United States. All contractors are notified that security clearances are required, and a background security investigation will be conducted on each employee working on this requirement. The proposed contract period is a base year, and four one-year option requirements. The option requirements will be exercisedbased on the availability of funds.
